LIGHT-FILLED KITCHEN

This kitchen fills one side of a large, open-plan living area in a city-centre Victorian home. It gets beautiful light through most of the day from West-facing sash windows and didn’t need anything too complicated to make it sing. The owners have an extensive collection of ceramics and other objects, making the best use of the open, wall-mounted shelves. (Images courtesy of Alistair Barnes)
