BLOK PARKLET

With a dynamic client and the design chosen from a competition, this Parklet was a in interesting intersection between furniture and urban planning. The construction provided a number of challenges, both from working on a busy main road and from the safety regulations of pedestrians so close to moving vehicles.

The result was a small outdoor space, with free wi-fi provided, that became a popular spot with locals, restaurant and office staff alike.

Made from Wax-impregnated Pine, with steel fixings and structural elements.
